James Jung, a graduate of Middlebury College, is an award-winning writer, editor, producer, and content strategist with more than 15-years experience in the digital space. He is the Senior Editor of Branded Entertainment at InsideHook and InsideHook Studios, where he leads content efforts for advertising partners and celebrities like Neil Patrick Harris. Previously, James served as the Director of Sponsored Content for NBC's Owned Television Station sites, creating custom content experiences for advertisers such as BMW, Capital One, JetBlue, McDonald's, and Visit Seattle, as well as a lifestyle editor on the staffs of NBC OTS, Travel + Leisure Magazine, and Blender.com. His feature stories and other journalism regularly appear in Bicycling, Bloomberg Businessweek, Men's Journal, Outside, Vice, Jetsetter, SKIWatch Journal, and other publications, and his essay—Chasing My Father’s Ghost—was recognized in Best American Essays 2021.

In addition to his professional work, James earned his MFA in Fiction from Stony Brook University, where he was awarded The Deborah Hecht Memorial Prize. His short stories have appeared in Narrative, The Southern Review, and The Southampton Review.
